Currently, I am a UX Designer with five years of experience on the Alexa Core team within the Devices Design Group at Amazon. Before studying UX at the Seattle School of Visual Concepts, my studies have been centered around Human Interaction for over 10 years. First through obtaining a B.A. in studying different cultures and behavioral studies through a Social Sciences major before becoming a designer.

These experiences are the guiding force behind my thought process, allowing me to better understand the behaviors, motivations, perspectives, and values of an ever-changing world of users.

Being based in the Pacific Northwest, you can't let the rain keep you inside. Any given week I can be found in the mountains whether it be seeking the best lines on my mountain bike, nervously trying surf the cold waters of the Pacific, or backpacking to a remote camp spot in the Cascades.

Other than outdoor ventures, I am an avid photographer and have done shoots for a variety of clients. I'm also typically trying to edge towards being a great cook, building crafts I probably found on Pinterest, or getting harassed for more food by my fluffy cat, Catniss.
